Two Teams. One Standard. One Mission.
INVST has acquired McMillan Asset Management.

Built the Same Way, From Different Starting Points
Two firms. Two founders. One shared belief: that expertise means nothing without integrity, and integrity means nothing if it doesn't put the client first — with transparency and an unwavering commitment to our fiduciary duty.
Our shared ethics and expertise of both firms, the history of already collaborating together to help our clients, and the ability to go to market with an enhanced level of combined resources and innovation was the biggest reason. We feel confident that this acquisition will continue to help our clients in new and exciting ways, with a continued focus on trust, open communication, hard work, and understanding your Why.
Why This, Why Now
INVST, LLC is a SEC-Registered Investment Advisor and fiduciary wealth management firm built on one non-negotiable: expertise means nothing without integrity, and integrity means nothing if it doesn't put the client first… with transparency and an unwavering commitment to our fiduciary duty.
Larry McMillan didn't just learn options — he defined how a generation of investors understands them. His book, Options as a Strategic Investment, has sold over 300,000 copies and is one of the most widely read books on derivatives. Larry has been trading since the early 1970s, ran the Equity Arbitrage desk at a major Wall Street brokerage for nine years, and has spent the decades since building McMillan Asset Management around one idea — a repeatable, rules-based, research-intensive approach to risk that reduces emotion from the equation.
That idea is the whole reason this makes sense. INVST didn't acquire a firm because they needed a product to sell. We acquired McMillan because we found a team that already believes what we believe:
- Discipline over speculation. A rules-based process, applied consistently, in various market environments.
- Mastery over trend-chasing. Real expertise, built over decades — not a strategy of the month.
- Clients over transactions. Individually managed accounts, transparent fee structures, and aligned incentives.
That's the same standard INVST was built on. Our founder, Scott Jarred, started this firm because he watched the industry put products ahead of people, and decided to build something different: a true fiduciary practice, guided by the client's well-being and not a sales target.

What This Means for You
McMillan Asset Management is now an integrated part of our investment team at INVST, under one fiduciary care standard and one collaborating team. That means:
- More depth. Sophisticated options and risk-aware strategies, previously available only through a specialized firm, now sit alongside your existing INVST relationship. You are now supported by the reach, resources, and full-service planning of a fiduciary firm serving clients across the US.
- More access. Whether you’re a business owner managing concentrated stock risk, a family building toward retirement, or simply curious about how options fit into a broader plan, your advisor can now bring that expertise directly into your conversation.
- Zero disruption to what you already have. Your advisor, your plan, and your INVST4Life™ process continue as they are. This is an addition to your team, not a change to your relationship.
Important Regulatory & Acquisition Disclosures
Ownership & Registration. INVST, LLC (“INVST”), an SEC-registered investment adviser based in Indianapolis, IN, owns and controls McMillan Analysis Corporation d/b/a McMillan Asset Management (“McMillan”), a New Jersey-registered investment adviser and CFTC-registered Commodity Trading Advisor/Commodity Pool Operator and NFA member. McMillan is a “related person” of INVST under Form ADV. The firms remain separate legal entities with distinct registrations and independent compliance programs; McMillan's advisory business — including all options trading and execution referenced in this release — is not conducted under, or supervised by, INVST's SEC registration. Registration does not imply a particular level of skill or regulatory endorsement.
Scope of Services. INVST provides wealth management and financial planning nationwide under its SEC registration. McMillan provides its strategy newsletters, pooled-vehicle advisory services, separately managed account services, and all options trading and execution under its own state registration, CFTC/NFA registrations, and applicable exemptions, which govern where McMillan may operate. INVST has not completed the registrations required to conduct options trading directly; until it does, any options-related strategy referenced in this release is executed by McMillan, not INVST. Services available to a client depend on which entity that client engages.
Conflicts of Interest. INVST's control of McMillan creates a financial incentive to recommend McMillan's strategies and services — a material conflict of interest. Clients are never obligated to use McMillan and may access comparable strategies through unaffiliated providers. Full conflict and compensation disclosures appear in INVST's Form ADV Part 2A, which clients should review.
Suitability. References to options, volatility, or risk-management strategies do not mean they are available or suitable for every client. Availability depends on individual objectives, risk tolerance, account type, custodial/options approvals, and applicable eligibility standards, including qualification standards for private funds or performance-based fees.
Purpose of This Announcement. This announcement is informational only. It is not personalized investment advice and not an offer or solicitation to buy any security, private fund interest, newsletter, or advisory service. Private fund interests are offered only to eligible investors through that fund's offering documents. Any forward-looking statements about integration or future plans reflect current intentions only, are subject to change, and are not guaranteed; no integration timeline has been established.
Risk Disclosures. All investing involves risk, including loss of principal. Margin trading carries elevated risk and may not suit all investors. No strategy can eliminate risk, guarantee profit, or prevent loss in a declining market. Past performance does not indicate future results. Options and other derivatives carry significant risk and are not suitable for all investors. Purchasers may lose their entire premium; writing uncovered options and certain spread or futures positions can produce losses exceeding the original investment and may require additional margin on short notice. Transaction costs can be significant relative to position size. Before trading options, read Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options (theocc.com or your broker-dealer). Futures and options-on-futures trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not appropriate for all investors.
