If you could instantly master one skill, what would it be?
Scratch golf. I'm chasing that dream with a mid-teen handicap and probably always will be.
What is a career "low point" that actually set you up for success?
Early in my career, I realized expertise in one domain wasn't enough. That discomfort pushed me to pursue a path of relentless learning, curiosity, and personal growth. It's made me a better investor and leader.
What piece of advice would you give your younger self?
Similar to investments, relationships and reputation compound over time. Invest in both early and often. And trust that quality focus beats scattered effort every time.
What's a fun fact about yourself?
I am a father of five boys and am passionate about Notre Dame football (Go Irish!).
