What is a career "low point" that actually set you up for success?

Declined a huge opportunity out of fear, and regretted it for so long. Looking back, I realize that decision, no matter the reason, lead me exactly to where in life I am today, which is a great place!

What piece of advice would you give your younger self?

Self-discipline and self-awareness will help shape your life more than you realize; develop those muscles early!
