Time travel!
What is a career "low point" that actually set you up for success?
I once made it to the final round of an interview process for a position I thought was perfect. The other candidate had a master's degree and I did not. The advanced degree was the deciding factor in the job offer. I enrolled in graduate school a few months later. Attending grad school and pursuing a master's degree opened additional doors for me to work in professional athletics for two decades, travel the world, meet and work with amazing people, and is a large part of who I am today.
What piece of advice would you give your younger self?
Find a mentor who can help you be your best. Take more risks to achieve more success. Regret of not trying or fully challenging yourself is a terrible feeling.
What's a fun fact about yourself?
I am fluent in sarcasm and dad jokes.
